MGT kicked it at High Cascade for Session 6. With coaches Leanne Pelosi, Desiree Melancon, and Raewyn Reid in tow, campers turned up the rad and got jibtastic. MORE GOOD TIMES was put simply by camper Anna Markle: “You’ll meet uber amazing people and play play play all day. Wicked.” What more needs to be said?

The MGT session at South America Snow Sessions in Argentina has officially come to a close. After 18 days of slashing, dropping, jumping, jibbing, lines, and smiles, the girls were all sad to leave the winter and their new bag of tricks behind. The MGT shred posse enjoyed the best possible weather and learned the power of the mountain and snow first hand. Thanks to South America Snow Sessions and all the girls who participated and made this session “More Good Times”.
This past Wednesday Chica’s Only of Argentina and MGT got together for a park jam that would make em’ blush. 56 Girls from all over North America, Europe, and South America showed up to butter the muffin, learn some new tricks, and break some language tension. With DJ Amazing cranking out the hits, a perfect park to shred, and the sun in full force, everyone was charging and having a killer time meeting new international shred friends. After a morning coach and an afternoon jam, el Asador Kaki cooked up Argentine BBQ feast for awards and spanglish socializing. MGT’s own Kylee Whestone was awarded with group breakthrough rider of the day but the Queen of the day went to Argentina’s own Malee Arrenio.
MGT’s super shredder and coach Spencer O’Brien kicked off her 2008/09 season with a 3rd place win at the first stop of the Burton Global Series in Lake Wanaka, NZ on August 1st. Throwing down a solid run, Spencer placed close behind Cheryl Maas and Jamie Anderson. Congrats from all the crew at MGT!

MGT coaches Robin Van Gyn and Natalie Gough are heading the pack of wild girl shredders at the MGT session at South America Snow Sessions. The snow has been epic and girls are hucking themselves off natural features all over the mountain and grabbing the attention of the crowds wherever they go. The snow is falling in Bariloche in anticipation of the MGT Big Mountain Session at South America Snow Sessions this August. Winter is in full effect.
